DG's solo work on Comfortably Numb, especially the second solo still makes the hair in the back of my neck stand up.

Any solo's on early Boston songs do it for me. Their lead guitar harmonies were a killer!

SRV's Voodoo Child (video version) solo from the 83' Austin City Limits video.

After Midnight (clapton, Cale) solo by Clapton from the 2004 Crossroads Guitar Festival.

The solo from Crying, Waiting, Hoping by Marshall Crenshaw. It's a very nice oldie style solo.

Bold As Love- Jimi Hendrix (epic ending)

Covered in Rain- John Mayer off the Any Given Thursday live CD/DVD. Actually, anytime that song is played live, the solo is typically stellar.

I had some other ones on the tip of my tounge but they've escaped me.

Badge- Cream/Clapton was always just a classic solo. Not the best I've ever heard but it's like the first classic definition of a solo that would come to my mind.

Wind Cries Mary- Hendrix. Although short and not too complicated, I've always really enjoyed the solo. It kinda defines Hendrix's often chordal style.
