Being disabled I spend most of my time at the computer. I download music, do genealogy, talk to friends and family. I also love to cook (47 years experience).

Think and dream about guitars

Build pedals. Longboard skateboards...

A lot of TV...

And I am currently studying electronics, so I am thinking about PLC logic and PIC microprocessors at bit these days...

I have been a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years. Here in NJ, the majority of fire departments are volunteer - only the very urban areas are staffed with career firefighters. Here's a link to some pictures of a fire I was fighting at 3 am on Sunday morning. I was on the first arriving truck and first hoseline into the house.

I am also a bit of an amateur cook and have even met Bobby Flay! I do lots of reading on cooking and watch lots of cooking shows.

I think about guitars, draw guitars, dream about guitars, read about guitars, wake up from a dream about jamming with a famous guitar player to find myself trapped in the nightmare that is called "school"...

Seriously though, I like to read, I like skateboarding and fencing (like, poking people with swords fencing, not landscaping), I like watching TV sometimes, I listen to music, and I write a lot.

I like to Draw, take pictures (usualy of my guitars in neat settings), go to concerts, Movies, cook, Black Jack and Vodka Collins when I'm in Laughlin, Ski and Snowboard (but it's been a few years since I've idulged that expensive hobby), Hiking (been to the top of San Gregornio), Camping, seeing new places, I really want to see the oldest parts of the country, like Philly, New York, DC, and points East. I was in Virginia in '96 and still kickin' myself for not getting to DC, and one day I'll get to Ireland so I can pretend I'm John Wayne in the Quiet Man.

Haha, I remember having a dream in wich I was jamming with the Peppers, but my mom listened to Abba and she put on our radio so loud, that our electricity supplie went down...
Jam over...

Anyways, as you could've read in some of my posts, I am a pretty fanatic Volleyball player, I play at least 3 times a week, about 8 hours in total.
School is ofcourse a real big occupation for me, since I'm doing the highest level of education at my school, including latin, which is pretty darn time consuming.
I sometimes have poker tournaments with friends, and hang out with them a lot, usually doing nothing much.
When I think about it, life's pretty good to me :D
Although schools not.

Would like to have a taste of your famous shredded beef burrito's chet! Drueling already!

I'm not doing very much at the moment, I want to re-build my music studio again. I had to dis-mantle it a couple of years back to create more room in the house but I've missed it ever since. So it's going back together and then maybe, go back to composing library music again.
Painting pictures with music is good fun. :D

Work wise I have been doing Rigging work for years, climbing towers and setting crains plus many other rigging jobs mostly for the Military under contracts. Now looking for a new position. Other then guitars my Hobby is I collect Firearms and Hunt doing season and go to the Range at least once every week or two. I also enjoy Fishing and just getting out into the woods and hiking.
I almost forgot I like taking photos of Graves. We go to Graves yards all over looking for interesting markers and photograph them. I also take photos for "Find A Grave" for people who want photos of a family Grave posted that they can not get to because they don't live anywhere near.

If I told you guys my Shredded Beef Burrito recipe I'd have to kill you........

Just kidding.

Here you go:

This recipe is for 1 1/2 to 2 lbs of beef. I use Eye of Round.

In a deep pot that has a lid.

2 Cans of Mexican Ro-Tel
3 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
1 Teaspoon Cilantro
Beef Broth and Chicken Broth (1/2 and 1/2, enough to completely cover the meat)

Put the lid on the pot so that it is slightly open. Cook on Medium/High heat for about 4 hours.
Pull meat from pot. Cut into sections about 3 inches long. Shred with a fork. Return shredded meat to pot and simmer for 1 hour.

Make Burritos using Flour tortillas, shredded beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese. If you like sour cream, guacamoli (sp) or whatever else add it.

This same recipe is also good with with Chicken and Pork.
