So, reading a British dairy industry study in a business site (yes, this picker is that dull)...

...in a real, documented study, cows which have names, Liz, Foo-foo, Baggie...

...produce more milk, substantially so, than nameless cows.

So if we name our guitars will they give is substantially more music (than an axe with no name)?

This inquiring mind seeks your esteemed opinions thereon. Thank you.

Sergio Leone's 'the man with no name' got a lot of things done. I think cows just like a bit of interpersonal conversation.

when I give her all names, talk everday to them, stroke them every day ....yep, maybe they sounding better. when they make then better music it would be cool also 8) haha

could be a nice study at fender. How react the guitars (wood) when they get love, tenderness, regular care...

brad, something like that running in the "guitar research dept."

we know that guitars could sound better after long playing. Gardener talks to there tomatos and they shall tast better...

love your guitars they will give it back to you...

cheers to all lovers :D

Actually his guitar's name was to avoid harm.

he was playing a gig in an old roadhouse, with kerosene lamps and sawdust on the floor. A bandmate was fooling around with a married girl named Lucille. her husband came there was a confrontation, she smashed a lamp the place went up in flames. BB went back for his guitar, passed out from smoke inhalation, and was dragged out. he named that guitar, and then subsequent black ones Lucille to remind him to never do anything that stupis again.

I only have one guitar, so I give her, my Burning Betty, all my love.
And although I don't know how she would sound without my love and care, I think it couldn't be better.
But on the other hand, I used to give almost everything a name... Even my stuffed animals, my chair, my tv, my pillow....

My brother had a cat for over 10 years and never gave it a name.

Have yet to get my first guitar.

This week will be the purchase, though I am still torn on a few things. lol

I am pretty sure it will end up with a name.

What it will be is yet to be determined, but I am sure "She" will tell me what it is in due course.
