Yea, I guess your right on that one :)

And is anyone else here from Nasville?
I wanted to know becuase I need to find a good guitar shop not in downtown, or a cheap guitar place.(need to find me a electric guitar cause all I play is acoustic and im tired of it.

I lived in Nashville for about 7 years, but not currently...the only place I went to was Rock Block guitars cause it was within walking distance from where I lived. I suggest checking the pawn shops cause the ones down there always have some decent stuff for a good price...

I live in Murfreesboro so I don't know anything in town - but if you want to come down to the 'Boro, Johnny Guitars on Clark street is the place to look. I have bought 4 guitars from them and they have great deals, great service and are just wonderful folks.

A Led Zeppelin tour would be cool
but

I wouldn't want them to go on tour due to the fact that they stopped playing in 1980 to honor John Bonham's death

I'm sure I read somewhere, Robert Plant has no intention of touring with Led Zep ever again. And to be honest, I feel it's the right decision. Then again, I've seen them live Image

I agree, and you are very lucky to have seen them play live
I have indeed. Not my favorite place, but a pretty good meal at a very good price usually.

Will someone please tell me why Robert Plant is with that country idiot?

i know that they got the best record or somethin in grammy's but i still cant stand that just drives me up the wall :|

anyone shed some light on that?

The way I figure it (in no particular order):

1. His voice has been shot for years and so, he can no longer do the Zeppelin stuff without making a fool of himself;

2. He has a 'thing' for the chick;

3. He needs the money to continue living the lifestyle he's accustomed to;

4. He may actually think he's good at this;

5. Simply because he is Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin, there's a certain ilk who will buy anything he records.

Well, I cannot attest to all of your reasons, but
1. His voice sounded just fine when they did "The Battle of Evermore" and "Black Country Woman" and othe Zep tunes when I saw them live, and
4. He is good at this. They sound very good together.

I'll go ahead and stick my neck out to say Robert Plant's doing this project beacause it works, and he wants to.

Speaking of "Battle of Evermore" Plant and Krauss do the best version I've ever heard (yes better than the original with Sandy Denny). I hope they put out a live DVD cause the only place you can hear that right now is Live at thier concert, or poor quality bootlegs on Youtube.

Wait a minute... Led Zeppelin isn't gonna tour anymore?.. last time I saw them in concert was 1969, at a rock festival sort of thing in Laurel, MD... Johnny Winter and Jethro Tull were performing also.. Led Zeppelin came on about 11 pm and played until 2 a.m.... ah, the good old days...

Plant's doing the right thing leaving that in the past..

HOLY SCHLITZ! Zepplin played in Laurel, MD? I grew up there and graduated from LHS class of 1993...this is the first time I heard of this. Another trivia item about Laurel, MD is that Marty Freidman (formerly of Cacophony and Megadeth) also went to Laurel High School in Maryland and took some guitar lessons at Rosso Brothers music where I started taking my lessons (I think he had a different teacher though :wink: ).

They played at a rock festival that was held in 1969 (June, I believe) in the infield at the Laurel horse racing track. It was an all-day festival that included Booker T & the MGs, the groups I mentioned above, plus a LOT more. Led Zeppelin closed the show and I remember them starting about 11 pm and playing well past 2 am.... By the time LZ came on, we were able to move pretty much right near the front of the stage. It was an incredible show to say the least....
