Hey, I have that album. It is pretty good. If you haven't heard it check it out. I like Led Zep as much as the next guy, but I can see Plant's point of view on the whole reunion thing. It would be great to see them, but I understand he's in a differrent place in his life with different music.

Robert Plant is doing the smart thing and staying away from a Led Zep reunion:
1) Plant can't sing anything like he used to in the '70s
2) Jimmy Page can't play like he used to in the '70s, and
3) Bonzo is long time gone.

Before I get flamed, I am not saying Plant can't still sing and Page can't still play ... I am just saying that it is not "Led Zeppelin", even if that is what they calll themselves. Robert Plant is showing very good judgement in recognizing that. Even if you may not agree with me, Robert Plant does.

As for the new stuff, last night's Grammy performance was the first I heard it. It was okay ... the rocakbilly leanings were cool. I enjoyed it, but won't be downloading it any time soon.

Yes. Alison Krauss is not, in fact, a "country idiot" but one of the most respected singers and musicians recording today, and ol' Bob is lucky to work with her.

If this drives you up the wall, this world must be a very traumatic place for you to live in.

from your post you seem to dislike country music.....maybe you already know this but country music is one of the ingredients that helped give birth to rock & roll.

I thought her genre was "Bluegrass"? Anyways, props to Plant to be able to make any money selling CD's these days. If you don't like it, change the channel.

I think it's great to see two artists from different genres of music work together. Allison Krauss is very talented and has made quite a name for herself. I wouldn't call anyone an idiot just because I don't like their style of music. Very narrow minded if you ask me.

Country idiot? I'm not a huge country fan, but I know Allison is very talented, has a ton of awards and is amazing on her own.

Even though Plant WAS great at one time, he rode on her coat tails this time around. That album was totally her thing, her style, etc. Plant's just an old guy that wants to get back in the limelight. And he did, good for him. He did a good job on the album. But I think that success of that album is mostly from Allison. Plant's part on it could have been a lot of other guys, and it still would have been a great album. So it turned into another award winning production by Allison with "Led Zeppelin's old singer" on it, which of course will draw attention.

Flame me all you want. Those 100% how I feel about it though.

I am speechless to that. And to think A-A Zigg shows there location as Nashville. To say She's a Country Idiot you got to be Kidding. Those two have been putting on some great shows together.
