Excellent pop-culture movie.

Amp-coveting understandable. Though by now now it might well need caps, cones, pots and be on its 25th re-tubing and 3rd re-covering.

One of my favorite movies of all time. One of the reasons I play Jonny B. Goode now. ;)

Cool fact...the guitar scene was what made John Mayer want to play guitar. 8)

I liked all three movies. Watch them when I can. Love the Jonny B. Goode scenes in BTTF 1 and 2. I love the ZZ Top scene in 3.

Just wondering, where would one find a narrow-panel Fender 'tweed' amp and a double-cutaway Gibson semi-hollowbody in 1955?

Here's a schematic to build your own flux capacitor:

If you go back in time, pick me up a few 50s and 60s Telecasters for me

I double checked, '55 was the first year for narrow-paneled Fender amps, sorry, my bad! The Gibson, on the other hand, still a mystery for 1955...

I believe that in 1955 Gibson introduced the first hollow body thinlines, the Byrdland and the ES 350T. Someone whip out their Vintage Price Guide for verification.
