Is anybody using these ? They are expensive at about £170 a pair and I gather gungy stuff is squirted into your ear so that a perfect mould can be made .The £13 a pair types with filters made by Alpine just block too many important frequencies . Or can anyone suggest another make that works well ?

I use to work around aircraft for many years and hearing protection was a must. We used these sponge inserts and they worked well which I would rather use than squirting something into my ears. Their cheap too, maybe you should try going online and look for a different brand or type of protector.
