could you put strat knobs on a tele, how about amp knobs (Muddy Waters tele)

I'm wondering cause I want numbers with my knobs, Chet might know

I posted in the tele forum and no one replied so this hopefully will

Please and thanks!

I don't exactly know about a tele. But I know that those black witch hat knobs you find on amps will fit on a strat. I've tried it before, it doesn't really look bad, they just didn't do for it what I thought they would.

If you browse around the net you might be able to find some custom tele knobs that are numbered.

The knobs on my old Bassman 100 (74') are set screws..and look like they might work on a P bass...which means they would work on a Tele.

If your Tele has knurled shaft pots, you could put a Strat knob on there. Amp knobs with set screws will work on knurled shaft or smooth shaft pots.

I've done the exact opposite - put un-numbered white amp knobs (like on a VibroKing) on Strats. Looks incredibly cool!

My girls got the FSR Strat with the tele knobs on it. Looks hot...definitely adds a touch of badass to the guitar.
I put Tele knobs on one of my P's, like the originals had...looks classy.
