Months ago....I asked members advice about what type of stool I could use to sit, while practicing guitar, or maybe even use at a gig if I was tired (I'm older than dirt). Maybe members were kind enough to give me advice and give me ideas on different options.

Some members even put the idea in my head to go out and buy a drummer's throne, since some of the guitar stools were not all that sturdy. At the time, they asked me to let them know what I picked and how it worked out.

Well, I finally made the purchase. I bought the Roc-N-Soc Original Saddle Drummer's throne. Very sturdy (has to be for a bouncing drummer). Saddle seat that is well built, If not locked down, it will swivel, to access other pieces of equipment. Very comfortable with a cloth upper portion of the seat. Works great.......no armrests or anything to get in the way of the guitar neck. I just wanted to say thank you to all those who gave me the advice. I probably wouldn't have found this seat otherwise.

Just in time too.....just joined a blues band.

Once again, thanks.

This is what I bought.

Plus they are easy to fold and take with you. I use the TAMA drum throne.

Hello Skylops,

Very nice throne indeed,
Looks like it'll support

I have a bad back injury and I use a 24" guitar stool. Its much better than using a regular chair.

Hi Syeklops: excellent choice. Good adjustment range - that'll be useful.

Interestingly, I have a stool that, bar the shape of the seat, is absolutely identical. Same mechanism, same rubber feet, etc. 'Cept my one is branded Premier...

I wonder how many of these companies actually make any of their own products any more, as opposed to just asking a factory in China to put their logo on it?

Whatever - it's a good seat. Enjoy!

Cheers - C

Even if they don't just get a factory in china to brand it for them, they probably buy components from the same sources, and then just assemble them.

It has a very wide seat. Makes it very comfortable.
