We caught a break and the weather cleared for a few days and I got busy.
the online sales thing kept us in groceries and gas for a few months.
I have to say we came close to losing it all a few times.

Seems like whenever we got to the end of our resources, something came along to pull us up and out.

Come on spring !!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still looking to retire from Bail Agent work and get a real job, for now its paying the bills.

My other background is retail managemnet and well you know, the guitar thing.

It ain't purty out there folks... CNN announced a record breaking of 629,000 people hitting the unemployment line last week... that adds to the 4.8 million already collecting unemployment... many who applied over three months ago and still have not received their first check!!!

We are in a sad state of mind these days and it really sucks when folks have to cut the throat of another just to keep their job. Times are tough and people do drastic things to survive.

Thanks for all the replies. With me being a nurse I know I can find work elsewhere if I needed to, I just really like working with my doctor. I did talk with my doctor today, he ensured me (us) that the changes they were talking about would not effect the staff postitions, just office space (we'll see). Again thanks for the replies.

Hello Rkreisher,

Last summer I would have thought
my job secure but in these tough times
I was let go---called back---and given the hint
that it's going to happen with regularity this year.
Basicly the company I work for it a bunch of potlickers.
Well at least I'm working tommorrow.

Cheers.
