I noticed that they changed the Logo on the new MIM again, now they are the 70's type which is fine i suppose but they also are including the Custom Body writing on them too...I'm jealous

I always thought the only way to get that was to buy an American or Japanese Strat.

i am sad faced :(

i think fender should show the same face and commitment to every instrument no mather it's MIM or American.
from the logo on the instrument has to prove itself and there are other less obvius and more elegant ways to distinguiss between ranged products

i believe that if it matters enough to anyone, they can always sand it off and put the new one on, or buy a classic series 50s strat.

I like it. It reminds me of my '71 Mustang . . . but I voted for the tacos. I'm hungry and this is the first year in many that I'm not attending a Super Bowl party.

I think it's cool. I think they should use random Labeling so you don't know if your getting an 80's logo or a 50's Logo or what.

I went with who cares. I like the new logo. I am just trying to decide if it is worth the extra $50 from the '08 line.

Sure the vintage spaghetti logo looks cool but at the end of the day I don't care where the instrument's made, as long as it looks, feels, and plays great.

To me a Fender logo is a Fender logo. As long as it's got one it's Sweeeet!

Hmm, it's a Fender--so brand it Fender--do them all the same or different--doesn't matter--it still says Made in Mexico on it.

Besides I don't support blind company loyalty.

Fender, like other guitar makers, has made good stuff & not so good stuff.

I won't buy a guitar, just because it's a Fender, or any other brand.

I like Fenders--there are a lot of good ones.

Personally, I like the previous generation MIM logo. It looked like the MIA logos from the '80s (see pic). Besides it is good looking with the silver. Just my opinion...

I like the old logo just as much as the new one- I had my old guitar sanded and tinted which made the old logo look cool. Now about the Tacos- over loaded with cheese gratings with a side salad- maybe a little sour cream.. sounds good, because of this post, im now starving and c raving tacos.. :P

I went with the tacos. When it comes to Fender I'm happy with MIM or MIA. I had/have both, Strats and Teles. It doesn't matter to me. Fender makes good instruments, regardless of which plant it comes from.
