I have a boss acoustic simulator. There are a lot of settings on it too, and I've tried them all. It "can" make your electric a little more acoustic-sounding, but nothing at all like a real acoustic. Sounds a "little" like a mid level piezo pickup, in a way.

Depends on what you want. If you like the sound of a great, solid wood acoustic that's miked, then this will very much disappoint you. If you want to make your electric sound a "tad" more like an acoustic piezo pickup, it might be ok for that.

I think that boss has a pedal that simulates acoustic guitar. You could try it.

One of the hardware units that I use for recording is a BOSS BR-864 and it has several really good acoustic sims. I would think that the individual BOSS acoustic sim pedals must be somewhere close to these also. :?:

I have the BR864, and the acoustic pedal. They're similar, but the pedal has more settings. I'm not really a fan on the sound of either though. Nothing like a real, miked acoustic by any means.
