Hi i just got an elec. guitar and my friend told me to come here. Does anyone know what is one of the easiest songs for a total beginner to learn?

It has to be somke on the water by deep purple. Its easy to play but you can still rock out to it.

try some bands like green day, they usually have songs with mostly power chords, but are still fun to play

You can Google up any number of tab sites that make it easy for beginners to get started .... some of the tunes are "dumbed down", but the variety is awsome.

um... i highly recommend green day... most of their songs are classic 3 chord or G D Em C... really easy stuff... also my fav. tabs site is

they have everything... tabs, chords, even bass.... hope that was helpful.

guitar tab .com is great, and one of the only tab sites still in force..copyright stuff scared most away and tabs are tough to find...I need bass tabs..any help there??
