Hey all Fender affectionados ... I've been playing a standard p-bass for around 8 years, recently i've done some recording in Garageband and I was really surprized / amazed with the tone that I got straight from my Fender standard p-bass guitar which I used a 1/4 inch jack converter to plug it into my laptop.

I put some effects and things through garageband, and always had new strings where possible, but I really was blown away by the sound - and for a DIY recording studio really - it exceeded my expectations! :D anyhow if anyone wants to hear it then have a listen below, all comments welcome, I am hoping to get an American P-bass version one day ... but this suits me fine for the meantime!!

Let me know,
Thanks - Paul

Ok, I've got the same files there in three places, (lots of time of my hands haha) ... either download the AACs (click the cover art) ... or you can listen online. There is my bass recorded, also I'm singing and there is drums + gat, I'm really happy with the P-bass sound it has ... see how ya go :D Thanks, Paul.

Thanks Senderkirk!! I appreciate you having a listen, again I was really surprized with the bass sound - I know that in a professional setup the sound would be ... well professional ! :D haha, but for a home job I was impressed!! ... I think it's a testament to Fender instruments!! ... alas the 5th track was the only one not recorded in G.B (that was recorded in a friends demo studio). :D
