8) Sounds like a helluva deal your mommas thrown at ya. Try searching for some tunes by "The Byrds". Roger McGuinn was twelve string player.

"Give a Little Bit" by Supertramp. Real easy, sounds good.

Leo Kottke is an amazing 12 string player.

How 'bout some of the earlier Beatles stuff. George Harrison played 12 string on alot of the pre-'Revolver' songs.

I always liked George Harrison's 12 string work on "Fish On The Sand" from Cloud Nine

"Walk Right In" by the Rooftop Singers in frequently credited with starting the 12-string craze in the 60's

Dig Jimmy Bryant's "Stratosphere Boogie"!

I agree that Harrison was perhaps the most misunderstood and maybe even the least appreciated of the Beatles. In retrospect some of his stuff was actually quite brilliant. With the exception of tunes like "I Got My Mind Set On You" ( :? ), he had a really great library of solo work.

Leo Kottke on an acoustic 12 string. Electric George Harrison, Roger McGuinn, Tom Petty, Led Zeplin and how about the Eagles Hotel California.
