who likes a flat black guitar? i think it looks really cool. very industrial.

i'm wanting to get a flat black Highway One Strat.

I Like Flat Black with Black Chrome parts. Speaking of industrial, I always wanted a guitar Painted with that Grey Machine Paint like they use on Gas Meters.

I love flat black guitars. Some of the above mentioned items are nice on them as well. I love my HIghway 1 Stratocaster, came close to the black, but the Sunburst one just sounded and played better to me at the time.

I'm not a fan of flat finishes in general and that is the only reason I won't buy a Highway One. I have a black '01 American Standard Strat and it's a beautiful instrument. I have a satin finish on two of my acoustics and I do like that. The satin finish will gloss up a bit here and there from playing but gives the guitar a ice character.
