Sounds like some of the slower Maiden stuff... and is that the MIJ Iron Maiden Strat?

She's pretty good, and girls don't tend to pick up guitar very technically - in general.

You can tell she's still working on her style. Her vibrato bugs me. Either no vibrato of that too-fast newbie-type vibrato. Not much soul or expression in her playing though. Not a bad thing, but just a note.

I'll check out more of her stuff though. Interesting.

As far as an image thing, she needs a smaller guitar, and/or hang it lower. She looks a little odd holding that guitar up high, and it looks real big on her as well. Might not be as bad if it were lower.

No, I don't know her. A friend came across her while doing a search for something else. We checked it out and saw there were many vids of her and the band on youtube. I was very impressed.

I probably could have picked a better clip to post. This one is long and doesn't really get cookin until about 5:00 in.

She's got speed and technique, but the few minutes of video I watched from her she doesn't look like she's into what she's playing, so she's not really feeling it.

I would be impressed by her skill, but probably not go to see them again, as I can't get into a band that doesn't like what they're playing.

Ana Vidovic, one of my instructors from Interlochen. Amazing player, one of the best in the world, and very cool as well. A brutal instructor though! She'll put you through the ringer, but she'll get the best out of her students.

Too bad she's so hard to look at :)
