I play a MIM Tele into a Champion 600. I go through a Boss BD2 OD and a Holy Grail Reverb. I am looking to add a Fuzz pedal.

The only thing it HAS to have is true bypass. It would be nice if it had an AC jack. Am looking to spend no more than about $100.

Don't care if it is germanium or silicon or whatever as long as it sounds good.

Any suggestions?

But if you're good with a Soldering Iron, here's the fuzzes I prefer:

Are you looking for a Fuzz Face - Hendrix sort of thing or Big Muff, "nastier" fuzz?

Big Muffs and Double Muffs (The Double sounds nothing like the Big Muff)cost under 100$. Other than those, I think they are all above 100$ except for some Danelectro and Behringer pedals, that are not true bypass as you want.

The Big Muffs are a little heavy for my stlye of music.

American rock-n-roll and alt country.

You know what a decent fuzz is, and probably one of THE most affordable pedals out there? The Behringer one.

Now I know they are cheap & flimsy looking, but they sound alright. Actually, this is coming from a guy who has been through tons of high end gear, heck I still have a lot of high dollar pieces but that Behringer fuzz is cool. It has quite a bit of gain too, check one out! Rock on, and I hope you get something you are 100% happy with.

Here's one you probably haven't heard of: Biyang. They make a nice three-mode fuzz.

I don't have experience with the Cool Cat fuzz but I've heard good things about it. I do have one of the Cool Cat overdrive pedals, however, and I'm not that impressed.

Some good reviews about the Biyang FZ7. Sound samples are good. Just bought one from eBay for like $50. Havent received it yet so I cant say for sure.
