I once saw a front-bound Sunburst Tele with a Strat-like contoured back, 3 Strat Lace-Sensors and a Strat Tremolo, Rosewood fretboard and Tele headstock. THAT blew me away! Too bad Fender doesn't make it as a regular model.... for those who want a Tele with a tremolo, I'm sure it would sell better than the John 5 guitar. BTW: As a Tele with Strat-type appointments, I came up with blending the two monikers into 'Stellacaster'. I have no clue if any guitar company ever used that name before, but IMHO, it certainly fits this. Also: I can only assume it had a 5-way switch with Master Volume - Master Tone controls. It was simply gorgeous. It was a trade-in the very day I was in the shop and it was gone the next day. Some super lucky person got one very special axe! I was so stunned when I first saw it, that I realized later I should have put money on it right then and there. When I came out of my fog and went back to do just that the following day, I was heart-broken to find that I was too late. I've never seen another one like it since. If I were wealthy, I'd have the Custom Shop build one... or two, LOL ..... and if I were famous, maybe they'd go ahead and make it as my Signature model. :D Don't I wish. However, I think the only thing I'd change now would be a Humbucker in the middle position: S/H/S ..... Unique, eh?

Thanks Rhumba...... as usual, REAL cute......... LOL
True, I haven't been here because I've been kinda 'tied up'.... you see, I not only got my hands on a Michael Kelly HourGlass Q (list $999) for a mire $175...... but I also got myself a Koa Strat. It all makes sense now, eh? Been breakin' both of them in (to my world) instead of swimmin' in cyberspace.

Oh yeah..... (almost forgot)..... obvious Q & A: $550 !!! :D
> The MKHG-Q was slightly used but the Koa is Bran-Spankin-New!!!!

BTW: I appreciate your concern for my absence Rhumba, but at my age, I don't think I could have any better excuse....... well, I could, but if I posted what we're both thinkin'...... mmmmm we'd be in big trouble! LOL
