He dresses cool! What's wrong with the way he dresses?!!? Too metro for you? I suppose if he wore a baseball cap and sneakers you'd be ok with that? Come on, he's hugely influenced by Hendrix and the whole Psychedelic era, how do you expect a young bohemian rock star to dress exactly?

I've got his first 2 albums(CD) and really enjoy them. 8) The boy can play!
I didn't pay any attention how he was dressed.

Ashamed to admit I didn't know much about him. Watched a couple of YouTube vids - wow, that boy can dress! I'm off to get me some beads... :D

Cheers - C

Phil played alongside Jeff Healey at the '99 Montreux concert, and even has some solo's happenin there. check it out, it's on dvd. it should be on youtube also.

and what's wrong with responding to dead posts? i thought people did it all the time, it's called "bumping a thread". if it wasn't customary to do, then all threads should be deleted after no replies are made within a week. irrational? yes

I've beensinging Philip's praises on these forums for quite some time,he is certainly gifted and soulful in his playing. As I've said in the past he's an amalgam of Jimi,SRV,Jeff Healy and Buddy Guy in his playing style yet his style is his own.
