Well I have a girlfriend but recently during gigs I have seemed to get a lot of attention when I play. I have had a few girls come up and give me numbers during breaks. But I get the feeling that these things wouldnt happen if I didnt have a girlfriend. Its like they can smell it LOL.

I don't think girls favor guitar players like they use to.

Nowadays everybody plays guitar, so it seems like it doesn't impress girls like it did in the old days. :?

hey guys... thought i might help you out with this one...

every girl is a sucker for a guy with a guitar, whether they'll admit it or not. i know i am, and i play. it doesn't matter. i don't know why it happens, but it does... just do me a favor... don't abuse it. there's nothing that turns me (and most of my friends) off more than a guy that acts like he knows that he's attractive.

hope that was helpful... let me know if you have any other questions...

eh, i don't get much luck...i think playing cheesy acoustic love songs helps, but i don't think its extremely helpful otherwise...i know a few girls who like my playing, and we're friends, but it doesn't really move me forward, but that doesn't bother me

When you get married, you'll always have your wife, so you won't need to get girls just because you play the guitar. You'll already have one.

But then what happens if your wife wants a divorce, because you spend more time with your guitar than you do with her. Then you'll have to rely on your guitar to get your second wife and the whole process starts all over again. It's the domino effect, hehe.

guitar gets girl---girl leaves because of guitar---guitar gets second girl---second girl leaves because of guitar---guitar gets third girl---thrid girl leaves because of guitar--- and on and on and on and on. Man this can get expensive.

Maybe it's better for serious guitar players to stay bachelors all their life.

We'll always have groupies, hehe. :D

My wife loves it when I spend a lot of time with my guitars. She often encourages it.

Hey guys, Do any other girls know that you play guitar? You can't tell if a girl likes a guitar player if you don't tell her. I'm the only girl in my grade that i know of that plays guitar. Then there is like 2 other guys.

lol...Man, I knew I shoulda played guitar instead of bass!!!!!
No one crushes on the bass player!

Luckily, my girl plays guitar too, so that makes her pretty understanding when it comes to the time I spend on my music and my basses. I'm pretty lucky.

I convinced my girlfriend to start playing her P-Bass Lyte again, and jam with me. Does that count?

um... seriously, i could list about fifty girls right now that would trade their leg for an hour or two with Pete Wentz... yeah, i would say that you're pretty lucky. it's so hard to find a guy that isn't intimidated by a girl with a guitar...
