ok, i'm gonna try to get this out of the way... I've had ancient Greec for some time, so I know my classics haha.
Europa was a princess, in ancient Greece.
One day, Zeus, the upper-god of Greek Mytholigy, who was known to be a great, horny charmer, saw Europa playing on the beach with her friends. He immediatly fell in love. In order to not scare the girl with his devine appearance, he transformed himself into a beautiful white bull.
The girl left her girlfriends when she saw the bull, and she mounted him. Zeus, who now captured the girl, ran into the see with her, and swam to the island of Kreta. There, he made love to her, and made 3 sons, one of them became King Minos.

and in lots of German Languages, we don't say Europe, but Europa.
