If you're a guitar player then you wanna play with the best rythm section, who would that be for you?

If you Play Bass, what Drummer and Guitar Player, or Keyboardist or whatever would you like to play with?

I'm not worthy.

Definately David Gilmour.
And either Danny Carey, Josh Freese or John Bonham.

Too many to choose from, but I will name a couple:

Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon

Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney

As a guitarist I'd like to play with Ringo Starr on drums and either Tiran Porter or Paul McCartney on bass.

As a bassist I'd like to keep Ringo on drums but have Larry Carlton on guitar.

Having Billy Powell on piano would be a trip, too.

ABSOLUTELY! That is my dream rhythm section. A close second would be Donald Dunn on bass and Steve Gadd on drums.

This is a very cool thread, btw. Thanks for starting it!

Of the two pairs, Duck and Steve Gadd would be my first choice. But for two other combinations, maybe Christian McBride on bass and Art Blakey on drums or Stanley Clarke on bass and Billy Cobham on drums depending on the sound I was going for.
