I have a Fender Bullet and it is made in the USA. I think it is a 1964 and I wanted to know if anyone could tell me the Value and how common these are? I have been playing this guitar for about 5yrs now and have jammed with many musicians but no one I have talked to knows much about it. Any info would be appreciated.

Hello, I am a Bullet owner (81 US Made model) and I have been trying to start a Yahoo group for this guitar (http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/fenderbulletguitar/ ) and in the initial post I did to start it I added some info, and also on the links page (http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/fenderbulletguitar/links)

I think in that stuff you can find what your looking for.

These are really treasures from the 80s, that are somewhat unloved it seems.

Join the group if interested in keeping it going (having trouble getting Bullet owners to join)

Excuse my ignorance, Bullet owners. But what is the difference between a regular strat and a Bullet? Does the Squier Bullet Strat retain any features of this guitar as well?

Were there Bullets in 1964? I dont think so. This model came out in the 80's I seriously believe.

Sulley, the Bullet was the lowest-cost Fender guitar in the 80's, like a sort of cousin to the Mustang, Broncos etc.. but even more simple. The body shape is unique, despite obviously Strat+Tele-inffluenced. The pickups were Mustang-like and the bridge had Tele-style barrel saddles. Pretty different from the current Squier Bullet that is a Strat and nothing more.

Theres another model that was a little upgraded, that had a more Strat-like shape and humbuckers I think, and a different bridge.
