My friend in Memphis, Stephen Fowler. He used to play with the Gentry's way back when, and now plays with The Memphis Trio, among other projects. They just released a new CD a few weeks ago (Train, Train, Train). Y'all can find it on Amazon and ITunes and such. His favorite guitar is his 57 Strat.

Gotta be The Edge, for old times' sake.

BTW, how did it get to be Saturday already in this forum? It's still late afternoon Friday here in California. Hope you Fender dudes are kickin' butt at NAMM, by the way.

Just a shout out to all my fellow guitar geeks. Glad to see so many others go for the Quality. And thanks for the contest.

Ed King, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Sweet Home Alabama has probably the best known strat, or guitar for that matter, intro riff ever.

She doesn't play a strat, but i'd sure like to strat Taylor Swift. She is hotter than hell.
