I am a solo artist, write & record every piece of my music. Actually, me and Barry are quite similar in styles, he's an awesome guitarist, check his stuff out!

I have some upcoming gigs with just me playing to a backing track. I know it's lame, but I have had the most difficult time getting a band put together. Anyone else struggled with this?!

You can hear some of my tunes in the signature, rock on. this is an interesting threat!

I am a solo artist. There is one venue in town that I am well established with, a coffee shop I play every few weeks, also taking pick up gigs when called upon to fill a spot in the schedule. I also do an open mic/jam thing once a month at another venue. By the groups and artists that know me, I also get asked a lot to sit in. The last gig I attended of a local singer/songwriter/friend, he called me up out of the audience, put his Taylor in my hands and had me play several numbers, which was quite an honor. Two local groups consider me an unofficial member, and ask me to sit in every time I’m in the audience. They offer me their instruments to play, but mostly they ask me to sing. I am always honored and humbled by their affirmation, and always have just a whole lot of fun.

use to play guitar in a coverband called Off Limizz consisting of 5 members. and once a month I join a regular meeting of musicians of different instruments, styles and also different skills for jamming, chating about music and sharing experiences and opinions. very nice and informative event.

I'm in three original music rock bands that occasionally play out. My main band is going to be on a local homeless charity benefit CD that should come out later this year.

Almost forgot-- used to play in church every Sunday for ten years, but moved to a new church where they don't use guitars much. Have played a couple services there so far.

I play bass in a classic/blues rock band. The drummer and I have been jaimming together for 15+ years, which in band time is unbelievable. There have been many others to go through the ranks over time. Monday is our practice night, a weekly foray of music and good times, I call it my weekly therapy session.

I also play bass and guitar in our church's praise band.

And I have a permanent "fill-in" spot for another local band whose bass player has too much going on most of the time.

Between all this and strumming my electric at home I have plenty of music in my life.

And a son that just started on bass, that's good too. 8)

In my past I have been in several bands but now I go to an open mic/jam weekly. I'm ready to get back into a band situation. I've been asked to play bass in a band but the rehearsal studio and all other band members were an hour and a half commute so I had to turn it down. :(
