From Paul Butterfield to Charlie Musselwhite to the band named Chicago, you have it all. Now, if Chicago could just get rid of politicians named "Daley," the city would be excellent!

Chicago, where all good politicians end the career under indictment.

Wasn't there a series of albums called "Chicago Rocks" about 30 years ago which featured unsigned Chicago-area rock groups?

In the early years of Alligator Records, Bruce Iglauer issued a series of records called "Living Chicago Blues" that had tracks from Blues artists. Some were famous while others weren't well known outside of Chicagoland.

wah, wah, wah. Chicago has amazing bands come from that area. You had Cheap Trick coming from Rockford and REO coming from Champaign. You have the most amazing blues players from there. Your science and art museums are the best in the nation. You do have the worst baseball team....Da Cubs (even though they are my favorite). Trivia note: do you know the Cubs haven't won one single playoff game since the Bartman caught that ball.
I live in Tucson AZ.....$%#@ Tucson. What do we have here? nada. We had Linda Ronstadt in the 70s, she then moved to CA. When her popularity died she had a house here, but she even said recently #@$% Tucson, I want a place where my kids can grow up, so she moved to San Francisco. We had the Eagles when they were two members of Ronstadt's backing band. But they had to get out of here to become famous. We had the Tubes start in Phoenix, but they too had to leave to get famous. There is nobody famous that stayed in Tucson. In Phoenix, they had the Gin Blossoms and in Tempe they had Jimmy Eats World.......big deal.
