I like the mellow sound of the Fender DG-20 (acoustic), but love the playability of the Strat. and the twang of a Tele.

I understand that most of you newer members are only here for the contest so you will only post three times and that is it. But I hope that you will stick around and be an active participant in these forums. There is so much useful information in every single one of the different forums. Plus the regular participants are really a top notch group of people.

I am sure you all have quite a lot of valuable info to share as well. Knowledge is best served when it is shared.

Just my $0.02.

Sure, we'll work something out if you win, not to worry.

I'm finally getting caught up on this whole '2009 Kickoff' thing. Wow! I can see now why we haven't seen as much of Brad on the Forums lately, he's been a very busy boy! Very clever idea requiring participation in the Forums to be eligible, rather than just the 'Register to Win' format. A good way to inject some new life into the Forums and boost our numbers. And it seems to be working, judging from all the new posters. To you new members, stick with us beyond this contest, these forums are a great source of information and a lot of fun.

Now, I just have to hope I don't space out over the weekend and forget to post on Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, thanks for the comments and I hope folks will tolerate the inevitable 'lightweight' postings that naturally accompany the effort. We'll end up with some new "regulars" out of this, I'm quite sure.

I've long been a fan of the Fender website, but this the first time posting. I can't pass up the chance to win some gear. Whoever is responsible for the site, great job!

Thank you for your compliment, and I hope you'll stop by more often! We do giveaways like this quite a bit and generally try to have fun and not take ourselves too seriously.

I wouldn't mind winning second place for my son. He really needs an amp to go with his Squier Mini Strat that he recieved for Christmas. Very cool contest Fender, no matter who wins !

Great Christmas gift! Best of luck to your son in our giveaway!
