You don't even need to guess what my response/question would have been to her....

To play Voodoo child requres a lot of heart and a lot of soul. You just can't play it around people just for fun, I mean you can play it but it won't sound right. You have to be on a stage or alone and deeply taken by the song to play it properly. Steeve and Jimi are playn' it specially with their known sparkle and fire.

We have a saying around here for those types of folks, it goes "No brains, no headaches"

It shows immaturity, IMO, music is just so subjective that one needs to remember there's probably a bigger library of music we don't like than stuff we do. Every kind of music touches each person in a different way, and means something different to them.

I don't get Prince at all, but for some people Purple Rain is just as important as Help or Woodstock.

haha, that sucks dude!
I do agree that it can be very annoying when someone beats you out of your vibe! My father always does that when I'm playing at night....
I would really prefer a hot chick to do that, but ah well.
And it's really crappy that most goodlookin girls don't have any taste for good music!

The dangers of playing outside of the privacy of your own domicile:

Some people think you are a jukebox

Some people think you suck

And the upside if you want it:

Some few may think you are hip

Dude. I didn't even know how to turn on the amp! I actually felt like I was doing something that I shouldn't. What can I say? I knew just enough that the Gibson Les Paul was a guitar I just had to touch even if I couldn't play. I plugged into the amp and nothing. So I started turning knobs. Brangggg! The thing came alive like Godzilla. I nearly dropped the Gibson on it's headstock.

True story. One day I'll get that Gibson Les Paul for myself. It was so pretty!

to be honest that time was one of the few times i was able to play it with alot feel and soul and thats what made it so much worse when she interrupted me cuz u cant just start over and do it again and i was with friends that appreciate that kind of music. but this chick just walked over and interrupted me like it was nothing. the way she did it really got under my skin she grabbed the neck and muted the strings and thats the kind of thing you dont do and everybody should know that :x
