Thank-you all for the compliments. Hope you don't mind a final response, now that I've actually got to play it.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this guitar. Classiest one I own. Classiest anything I own. These single coil DynaSonics are splendid. With both pickups it is the blurbly sproinky sound I was thinking of. But not disgustingly Rock a billy or Bluegrassy. Perfect.

Quite different from the Filter'Trons that are in my 6122-62. (Those pickups are a perfect fit for that guitar as well).

Similar to me in some ways to the TV Jones Classics we have in my Son's 5120.

I play it mostly clean and fairly loud, sometimes with a bit of delay. But it overdrives very well, and a bit of OD on the bridge, or perhaps both with about half the neck cut out, sounds wonderfully raunchy. But cleanly so. Not muddy anywhere.

Guitar arrived flawless. Fit, finish and setup were excellent although I may need to add a bit of relief. May try a set of 12 flatwounds which might tweek it perfectly.

This bridge is interesting, and forcing me, as my Strat does, to keep from resting the heel of my right hand on it.

I've heard nothing but good things and praise regarding the folks I bought it from. Rocky at Street Sounds in Brooklyn, NY. I can only add to the praise.

This guitar is now my favorite, but that's really a tough thing to say. Love everything I've got. Usually depends on what I'm playing at the time.

I think if the place caught fire and I was able to only grab one in each hand I'd....start chuckin' $h1+ out the window, grab this and the Strat and boogie.

There was something familiar about the first pix you posted, I got the exact same case with my Martin acoustic. Only difference being, mine is green inside. Hope you're enjoying her Dafrezze 8)
