I started a thread about the price of pedal boards, but I`ve never owned one and am currently waiting for one to be delivered. My question is: when you lay the pedals out in the board, do you still need to use the small connecting cables from one pedal to the other or are they eliminated through the power source of the board itself ?

There are many posters here better qualified to answer you JPD, than me :) But... I got my first pedal board a few weeks ago, a Boss BCB-60. Yes the pedals are all connected to each other, I believe the term is " daisy chained". It took me about 30 minutes to set it up, and I'm usually useless with techie stuff. I hope you enjoy the board that's on it's way to you, they're a lot of fun.

Yes, you still need to connect the pedals together the normal way. The guitar signal is not carried through the power supply.

Hey Snowy,
I've just got the BCB-60. Do you run yours through the front of your amp, or do you loop it ?
It says in the instuctions to plug your guitar in one end of the board and then the other end back to the amp. I was wondering whether you could use the send and return with this board.
I would try it but I blew a fuse the last time I was messin' around with this sort of thing, so I'm a bit wary of doing some damage now.
It works ok through the front but if I could split, say modulations etc through a loop and overdrive/wah etc through the front it might be better.
Just wondering how you use yours ?
Cheers.

Hi Rhumba,
How's trix? Hope life is treating you well mate. I'm using my board the same way as you are, I'm not too gifted when it comes to this stuff, I've blown more than a fuse in the past  I love this board though, as you will know it's pretty nifty. If I do some experimenting, I'll be sure and post.

Yeah, thanks Snowy, things are ok, hope all is well with you.
Yes it is a good board, I've got mainly Boss pedals so I'll run it through the front. I tried a loop but I got some weird buzzes, ha ha I think I'll just stick with the instuctions but if you do come up with a way, let me know and I'll let you know if I come up with anything.
Thanks again mate,
Cheers
