Back around 1989, I had a '75 3-tone sunburst Strat, customized with DiMarzio HS-3 PU's, Floyd Rose, Gotoh Machine heads, etc. I also had 2 Fender Amps, nine pedals, Aria StudioTrack 4 track recorder, a rockman, Boss tuner, and lots of other stuff. I came home one day and found all of that gone... stolen. Its been years but I still haven't fully gotten over it.

Top that for a bad day.

I have a big noticeable gash on the back of my acoustic.
Since then, I don't really care how it looks. It looks about
ten years old just from how scratched up it is, but I've only
had it for almost two years.

Don't you hate it when when you come to rehearsal/practice and your bass/guitar has new dings in it and nobody accounts or apologizes?
Happened many many years ago, but ticked me off enuff I still remember. Grrrr!

Lesson learned -- always put the axe away in a proper case if leaving at rehearsal space. Or just take it when you leave.

That happened to my Singer in her last band. There was a Huge chip in her favorite $300 Mic. After a few weeks of denial, they finally admitted they let the kids play in the Band Room. :x :?

My cat was startled from under my bed when I walked into the room... he proceeded to run and caught the cord around his leg that was attached to my guitar and amp... you can visualize what happened then. And this was my reaction...

By the way... the cat is now dead.

wow i guess theres alot worse things that could happen than i could imagine.

one time i had my 80s lead II in a gig bag and forgot to zip it up when i picked it up it fell out... head first and the headstock hit the floor first put a ding in it and knocked it all outta whack took a while to get it back to normal but no horrible physical damage.
