I`m sure a lot of people here use powered pedal boards. I went to a local Sam Ash and they wanted $110 for a powered board and I thought that was kind of high priced. I looked on Ebay today and got the same one for $40 and it comes with a bag and velcro for the pedals. Glad I waited.

I just built my own and spent less than $25 and it was entertaining.

What power's the board? A unit like the Dunlop DC brick, or are the pedals Daisy Chained?

:) I paid almost 100$cdn just for the power supply for my pedals.
Also use Planet Waves patch cables at 12$cdn each to connect things together.

Want no noise or interference from cheap components to get into my signal path.

That said I made the actual pedal board myself, and use an aluminum tool case to hold it :)

Being Lazy, I bought pre made patch cables,.
Connectors jacks are silver so I suspect they are not gold plated.

FirstMeasure...I believe the power board comes with a 9 volt adaptor to power it up.

Check that :)
Many pedals do take 9v, but I have a t least one Ibanez Flanger that wants 18V

Thanks, I might go the Ebay route myself.

The pedals I have just need 9 volt so the adapter that comes with the board will be ok.
