Along with music, art is my main other passion. Just wanted to start a friendly thread for any artists here to show and discuss their work and just talk about art in general. Non-artists are welcome as well. Someone's gotta feed our egos.

just kidding. Most artists i've met are actually more humble than the average person. Comments are always nice though. :)

I've got a link to most of my art http://intothewild7.deviantart.com/ . I'm almost always adding more to my site.

Here's one to get started. Anyone wanna guess who this guitarist is? He's kinda young in this pic.

Image

btw, the pic doesn't really do the drawing justice. Bad lighting etc. Regardless, it's not too bad.

nope. (although Young's pretty cool)

Think heavier and artistic They're a bit newer than Neil (the person in question is their guitarist.

Image This is an oil painting I did, the shadow at the top was from the easel. Sorry for the size, I don`t know why it comes out so large.

My regular job is in the nursing field as a LPN, but I also do Comic Book art on a part time basis. I've done work most rcently for AC Comics long running title Fem-Force. I would love to do it full time but it's a very hard field to break into. Here's a comission I did of the Silver Surfer.

Hi Jeff: not sure what the copyright situation would be but I'd bet there's a few folks here would like images like that put onto their white bodied Fenders for them. 'Nother string to your bow...?

Cheers - C

Wow! You guys are absolutely great! I draw too, but nothing more than a hobby.. I probably touch a pencil (or simple mouse in some cases) only a few times a year.

Here is my latest one (mouse+ corel painter 9, from scratch, of course):

I'm also in Deviantart. You can see this one there a few others... I think my name is Ibrox there.

'Am a duffer, long-time fumbling wannabe artist who is also a scale modeler.

Enjoying and attempting many, many forms of art seems to work here. Drawing, painting, woodworking, playing music, photography, writing prose and poetry.

Who said it? "Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly." That's this picker, who it was written about.

Have fun!
