It's a very tough market and I'd be gravely concerned (and frequently up pacing the floor at night) if real estate were our family's sole source of income -- I don't know how folks do it!

Thats sales for you, wake up Monday morning without a nickle in the pocket, blindly going forward, hoping to have a paycheck at the end of Friday night. It's stress deluxe. I am glad I punch a clock now, but there is no security there when it's someone else's clock. Maybe twenty years from now, I will be a big rock star, ,, driving my strat,,, at 70.

Yahoo on your 1,000 post, have some Ice Cream!

You can start on your next 1K by telling me if that long sleeved dark blue shirt with the logo "rock and roll/Fender has been discontinued. Can't seem to find it in 'Clothing"

Doc :?

I've "punched a clock" for my entire career, but my wife's burgeoning real estate aspirations have given me a glimpse of this sales world of which you speak. When it's good it's good, and when it's slow it's ... very slow. I can only imagine the stress that would accompany a purely commission-based income!

Doc, dunno but drop me a line about that offline and I can certainly inquire.

Why do you want to know it?

For that matter, I'm not sure why I made the effort!!

There is a much faster way . . . and I feel stupid for not figuring it out sooner.

I believe you are #138783.

Wow, I'd better jump in here before too many folks spend hours sifting through page after page of our member list looking for themselves. If you simply mouse over your username you'll note that your numerical registration member is included as part of the link. For example, if you mouse over fhopkins' username you'll see a link like the following in your browser's status bar (generally at the very bottom of your screen): http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... e&u=138943. Notice the "u=138943" part -- it means fhopkins is user #138,943. Get it?

Where it gets a little odd is that this ID is not in sync with the numbers that are shown on the member list pages -- and that's because the latter does not take into account user ID's that have been forcefully deleted by yours truly and/or occasional database corruptions that we've had (and there have been a few instances of both). Long story short, though, the mouse rollover trick above is the most accurate way to get your true registration ID.

All the hours I've spent here and never noticed that. D'oh!

Wow - that suggests there have been a lot more "forceable deletions" than I was aware of. I thought I could count those over the last year or so on my fingers. How wrong you can be!

Cheers - C
