Hey Gang,

In trying to provide all of you with the latest news and sharing with you information about things that YOU want to know about, we'd like to hear what you have to say!

Recently we sent out several e-mail blasts to all of you that shared the news about the Eric Clapton Antigua Stratocaster® Guitar / Amp combos, we shared with you the John Mayer Stratocaster guitar giveaway, we told you about appearances of Mayer on Good Morning America, and we did a promotion that would get you a free t-shirt.... Now, we want to hear your thoughts on these blasts.

If you could, please post your answers to the following questions and provide any other helpful tidbits you think we might find useful. After all, YOU are the reason we keep makin' cool products so we want to make sure we are fulfilling YOUR needs as musicians.

1. What did you think of the messaging of the e-mail blasts? Did you find the information useful or interesting?

2. What did you think about the look and feel of the e-mail blasts? Were they vibey enough? Did they look cool?

3. Did you like the frequency you received the e-mail blasts? Would you like to receive them more frequently or less frequently? How often would you like to receive e-mail blasts from Fender?

4. When you receive e-mail blasts from us, do you want a newsletter approach where we put a bunch of information in the blast OR would you rather us send blasts that are more specific to certain products and promotions?? Basically, do you want a HUGE e-mail blast or do you like short, succinct e-mail blasts?

So, start submitting your feedback... we want to hear from YOU!

Thanks,

1. What did you think of the messaging of the e-mail blasts? Did you find the information useful or interesting? I thought they were great. I probably would have missed that great GMA performance by John Mayer and Eric Clapton if you hadnt sent out the notice.

2. What did you think about the look and feel of the e-mail blasts? Were they vibey enough? Did they look cool? They were very eye catching and looked great.

3. Did you like the frequency you received the e-mail blasts? Would you like to receive them more frequently or less frequently? How often would you like to receive e-mail blasts from Fender? I would like to recieve them anytime there is interesting news. I like the way its working as it is.

4. When you receive e-mail blasts from us, do you want a newsletter approach where we put a bunch of information in the blast OR would you rather us send blasts that are more specific to certain products and promotions?? Basically, do you want a HUGE e-mail blast or do you like short, succinct e-mail blasts? HUGE

So, start submitting your feedback... we want to hear from YOU!

Thanks,

We are aware of the concerns regarding our International consumers and we are working on a solution that will make ALL of our consumers happy and proud Fender players.

At this time we are trying to get the machine running properly on the Domestic front first. However, we are aware that our International folks are receiving these blasts that feature promotions that they can't participate in and we apologize for this. Just know that we are working on the problem and hope to have something for you guys in the near future :D

Thanks for the feedback guys... keep it comin'!!

1. What did you think of the messaging of the e-mail blasts? Did you find the information useful or interesting?

Yes, the info provided was very useful.

2. What did you think about the look and feel of the e-mail blasts? Were they vibey enough? Did they look cool?

The overall designs were eye-catching and appealing.

3. Did you like the frequency you received the e-mail blasts? Would you like to receive them more frequently or less frequently? How often would you like to receive e-mail blasts from Fender?

Fender can send me as many e-mail blast as necessary. It helps to keep your info under my nose and constantly aware of what's up at Fender.

4. When you receive e-mail blasts from us, do you want a newsletter approach where we put a bunch of information in the blast OR would you rather us send blasts that are more specific to certain products and promotions?? Basically, do you want a HUGE e-mail blast or do you like short, succinct e-mail blasts?

I prefer short e-mail blast without a bunch of copy. But an eNewsletter would be very cool to receive on a quarterly basis, as well as short blast every so often.

I've found them informative - even in some cases where I already knew about the subject matter - like the Eric Clapton Guitar and Amp.

Short and sweet and to the point is always better - the newsletter style is OK when you want to actually send articles in the blasts - but I expect that you want to attract traffic to the FMIC websites.

The blasts have been very well laid out - colorful, attractive and very informative.

I have expected to get more blasts about Fender products instead of just events and contests.

Just keep the info flowing.

1. What did you think of the messaging of the e-mail blasts? Did you find the information useful or interesting?

sometimes, i'm usually on here enough that i see the offers on here, and then through email, but it would be helpful for anyone not on these forums regularly.

2. What did you think about the look and feel of the e-mail blasts? Were they vibey enough? Did they look cool?

they looked interesting enough to me, got the point across and gave easy links to follow to the info if you needed it.

3. Did you like the frequency you received the e-mail blasts? Would you like to receive them more frequently or less frequently? How often would you like to receive e-mail blasts from Fender?

I don't mind the emails. maybe once every week or two, depending on how much new info you have or offers, doesn't bother me though

4. When you receive e-mail blasts from us, do you want a newsletter approach where we put a bunch of information in the blast OR would you rather us send blasts that are more specific to certain products and promotions?? Basically, do you want a HUGE e-mail blast or do you like short, succinct e-mail blasts?

short ones i guess... i like to know what the offer is about, if its in the title i can read it and know if i want to check it out... with bigger ones, i may get a lot of info i don't need at the time that would just make it harder to find what i'm looking for

1. What did you think of the messaging of the e-mail blasts? Did you find the information useful or interesting?

It reminded me that I still haven't received my t-shirt after the "test drive" and card submittal almost 8 weeks ago.

2. What did you think about the look and feel of the e-mail blasts? Were they vibey enough? Did they look cool?

Yes

3. Did you like the frequency you received the e-mail blasts? Would you like to receive them more frequently or less frequently? How often would you like to receive e-mail blasts from Fender?

If you've already sent via US Postal Service, less frequently would be appreciated. Once a month seems reasonable.

4. Basically, do you want a HUGE e-mail blast or do you like short, succinct e-mail blasts?

HUGE works for me, but not duplicates.

I'll make it easy. I just love em in any shape or form. Big, small...doesn't matter. I just love to get gear, event, artist, contest info as often as possible.

I thought they were informative, visually well done, and the frequency and size were fine...keep it up...though I don't remeber the Clapton guitar/amp one.

1. What did you think of the messaging of the e-mail blasts? Did you find the information useful or interesting?

Yeah, it's cool.

2. What did you think about the look and feel of the e-mail blasts? Were they vibey enough? Did they look cool?
Everything looked pretty slick.

3. Did you like the frequency you received the e-mail blasts? Would you like to receive them more frequently or less frequently? How often would you like to receive e-mail blasts from Fender?

Everything's pretty cool, I look forward to the emails...even though alot of it is very guitar-centric. It's cool to know what's going on, and I didn't get alot of repeat messages. So you're one step ahead of everyone else out there.

4. When you receive e-mail blasts from us, do you want a newsletter approach where we put a bunch of information in the blast OR would you rather us send blasts that are more specific to certain products and promotions?? Basically, do you want a HUGE e-mail blast or do you like short, succinct e-mail blasts?

I'm not partial to either. I think the individual ones are easier to weed out what you're interested in and what you're not. So that seems to be a good strategy. Although, possibly a monthly newsletter approach would be cool too, with links touching on things that have happened and the different goings on, and maybe some glimpses at what's to come.

All in all, I think you guys are doing a really great job. I enjoy the emails alot. My only suggestion is more stuff for us bottom feeders.
