Just saw a Youtube of Ana Popovic - Whew........where did this woman come from...........

Sounds like she is from Eastern Europe? Didn't know that the blues reached that far!?!?

Any news of a US Tour - I would like to see her.

Ana is quite a guitar player. I have a couple of her CD's. Google for her website to see if she has a tour schedule listed.

Saw her several years ago up close and personal at the Ft. Lauderdale Blues Festival. Oh yeah, a guitar playing, eastern European beauty in leather pants. She's a Strat player, too!

If I`m not mistaken, she`s from Poland. If you go back to Youtube and look up Coco Montoya, they play together in a live concert.

She's originally from the former Yugoslavia, but she lives elsewhere in Europe now. Maybe in Poland.

As far as I know, Ana is from Serbia and was quite popular there before relocating to the Netherlands.
The Dutch blues scene is really lively, at any time you can bump into a lot of great acts, from Walter Trout and Joe Bonamassa to Terryman (awesome) and the fierce Lamar Chase (the last two are house names of Bourbon St Club in Amsterdam, the place to be for blues and jazz if there). Terryman did songwriting and gigging with Ana.
