Hey all, I'm really itching to buy one of these strats (especially the 60's strat) to go along with my '06 American Standard Strat. Does anyone have any impressions or information concerning these insane looking Fenders?

I believe they are MIM guitars (hence the reasonable price) if the US CS had "road worn" it, they would cost alot more. :D

I don't really get the idea of these guitars and other vintage guitars... why not just buy a nice fender and scratch it yourself if you like the worn out look?

I just got an email from Musician's Friend about these. They look pretty cool.

I just got mine, too. I wonder how popular these will be? Also . . .

STUPID QUESTION #1 -- In these days of computer-controlled machinery, will all of the "wear" spots on each model look the same or will each be one of a kind? I imagine they can't relic these things like they do in the Custom Shop and do it economically.

Let's move this chat over to the official Road Worn™ thread if ya'll don't mind. This is a pretty important series launch for us and this particular thread had some confusion at the start.
