Not to dodge a direct answer, but there are several threads here that should help you if you do little search.
There have been threads:
What are you listening to?
What is your favorite intro riff?
What is your favorite guitar solo?
Stranded on a desert island with 10 albums
etc

I constantly get ideas of things to listen to from the posts I see on these kinds of threads...

I am with Troublecall - I have gotten many ideas from the threads on the Lounge. Good Luck..........

I love all the bands you listed, and once that was all I needed. But it does sounds like variety may help you. I was never into metal early on, I started with the classics. But I had some metal head buddies that got me into Metallica, Slayer and Testament. It took awhile to get used to this music, but its what got my playing to the next level. Early Metallica and Testament with Alex Skolnick blew me away with the guitar playing. I never thought power chords could be so exciting. But more than that was also song structure good rhythm playing and the fast soloing. I am not saying you have to listen to what I listened too, but a change of scenery may be due for you. You need something new to reinvigorate your passion for playing. A guy I work with started with the same classical rock stuff as me, but went to early blues, instead of metal like me. It did the same thing for him.

I have to disagree with folks recommending similar music as what you already listen to. You may find it boring or more of the same. Good luck!

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the Dire Straits, and Mark Knopfler?
I know it's my fault too, but... come on!!

maybe it's too sensitive, but most songs got beautiful intro's, and it teaches you to use licks between the chords, instead of always the old-n-simple strum...

Here are some specific suggestions:
One of my absolute favorites - Wishbone Ash. Twin guitar heaven...
Uncle Ted Nugent
Blue Oyster Cult
Foreigner

All fun, high energy stuff to play with good guitar parts.

Chris Duarte
Joe Bonamassa
Walter Trout
Heck, try some Thorogood or Ramones for straight forward ripping...

BTW, 01GT Eibach - loved your list of suggestions...

George Clinton & Parliment Funkidelic
Bootsy Collins
Early Stevie Wonder
Sly and the Family Stone
War

I've said all this before somewhere but anyway, Ill say it again.

If you want to try something like a blend of, Peter Green and David Gilmour, then Snowy White is your man. He has sat in with Roger Waters's band occasionally ( the other floyd ) and he has his own band, the White Flames. Recommended listening.
Snowy White and The White Flames:-

Keep Out - We Are Toxic
Little Wing
No Faith Required
Restless
The Way It Is

Not as many solos as you would probably prefer but you should try the White Stripes.
