Hey I don't like Fall Out Boy either, but that is one nice bass and amp they are giving away. I posted this on another thread...I'd play it if I won it. I always wanted to dabble in playing a bass.

My daughters love Fall Out Boy and I don't really care for them. With that said it's like people that complain about something on TV-you don't have to listen or watch. Change the station or the radio if it's what you're listening to. I registered for the Pete Wentz bass/amp just so's my daughter can have a bass to learn on. Yeah the artist models should be few and far between. I'm surprised there isn't an EVH Frankenstein copy put out by Fender.

Ummm....

Saw the bass and amp at my local Fender dealer. Seems like a very nice amp. Not impressed with the bass, seemed flimsy and cheap.
But I'd try to learn bass on it - after I cleaned the scribbling off of it.

All that has been said already, my comment included. Seems not to have taken one thing into account. FMIC need to attract younger players. Us lot aint going to be around forever. Who could expect fenders sales to end with the current 15-65 year old generation of players.
