Sometimes I try to send myself a private message, but I finally figured out that I have a hard time trying to get a hold of myself.......

Sorry folks. The Jerm was trying to pass some information (a word document with blues scales) for my daughter. I am sure that he didn't know that the PM was disabled. To be honest I didn't either. Until he asked, I never even had it turned on. I would love to give him my e-mail address, but I figured that was a little inappropriate for a 37 year old man to give a teenager his e-mail address (even for something as little as passing guitar information). Again sorry for this thread going a little crazy.

The Jerm,

Maybe the administrators could help us in this manner. I was also thinking you could post the word document on the www. through a different avenue. Maybe set up a webpage with that word document on it only. Then post the address for the good people here on the Fender forum could look/download it for them as well.

I don't see the need for it. If someone wants peeps to be able to contact them privately they can just post their Myspace site in their sig. :)

Jerm.

Please post away mate. Of all the forum posts, topics and doggerel. Music theory, licks, scales and practice exercises must surely be the most sought after. I'm forever scouring the web for jazz and country tips. Two styles i know little about. Despite my knowledge i can learn more and would gladly sift through stuff i do know to find the bit i dont know.

In fact cant we have a forum section dedicated to tuition?
It could be a great advert for fenders community education program.

I will not enter into that type of communication.
If you have anything to say, you can say it here.

I just wanted this to be clear. Sorry for this long post. Any more people who want to act like I'm some nasty pervert trying to insult, or harass people secretly? feel free to post!

Er........What Is This???
Excuse me sir but I was reponding to your original post, which was a generalised non personall thread, pm's? or no pm's? and I gave my opinion, in that I do not see the need for pm's on subjects that are discussed in this forum. In that all subjects can be disscused openly.

It was later that you revealed the true nature of your post, some musical dispatch that involved rkreisher and yourself and that was somewhat removed from the original post.

I strongly resent my post being twisted into suggesting you are some kind of pervert or other nasty. This being absolutely not the case, in that I was simply responding to a poll, in a non personal, generalised manner.

You are new to the forum, so I will let this go by, this time.
However I recommend you choose your words more carefully in future.

Really sorry if I insulted you. This was ofcourse not my intention at all, I guess I was just a little pissed off atm..

I now know the solution to my problem and I realise I shouldn't have bothered other people with this, but I just thought some other people might want to pm too, appearently not.
I'm just gonna post the scale and stuff I just wanted to send to rkeisher out in the open.
sorry rhumba

I'ts ok man, your apology is of course accepted, I'm sure niether of us want, or need any bad feeling here and at this time of year an'all.
I'ts just that you have to remember that hundreds of people read these posts, so we have to watch what we say. Ones reputation can be damaged by loose comments.
I know you are a good guy, I have read some of your posts and you always seemed ok to me. So keep rockin' man.
Anyway lets put this to bed now and move on.
So all the best and have a good new year and may all your dreams be realised in the coming months.

Cheers,

Rhumba :D

why not since you can activate it or not in your profile setup. Bring on the PMing!

Good point!
I've also seen, on other forums, the option to ignore a certain persons posts. I would like that option. Especially for some people that I haven't seen in a while.
