These questions are always ridiculous to me. Best .... for what?

Blues, Jazz, Country, Rock? For a guy that likes black guitars? For a young girl? For a pro as a back up guitar? For a spoiled boy that wants a toy?

There is no ONE best for anything. Not in guitars, not in cars, not in a wife, nothing. What's the best for YOU though, is the one you like the best, think is the prettiest, is in your budget, feels good in your hands, and sounds the way you want it to sound.

Even the lowest line Squier can be "the best" option for some people in certain situations.

If you willing to hit that $700 mark.......you just might want to wait just a bit.....save a bit more......and go for the American Standard for $300 more (depending on your financial situation). It might save that "I wish I would've....." thingie.

+1 on that. It looks pretty sweet. I want to go to the music store this weekend to see if they have one and test fly it.

I'd say the Fender Deluxe Players... but that's just me. I'm saving money myself for that one right now.

btw, rkeisher, I posted a topic "the notes on your guitar and the A minor scale" with the document.
