I have to go with 2007 which is on my DVD player right now. I think it is produced better and there seems to be a better energy.

I own them both. Love them both, but the 2007 is far superior because of the direction, the editing, it's more movie like. There is entertainment between the sets with Bill Murray. 2007 for me. 8)

I like both, but the 2007 Crossroads is a much better "show".

So that's how I voted.

That's funny, I didn't expect such a one sided response. I couldn't decide.

2004 Had,
ZZ Top
The Old Blues Guys
Joe Walsh
Steve Vai
Better Group Jam with Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Cray, Eric Clapton, Robert Randolph

2007 had,
More Buddy Guy
Derek Trucks
Susan Tedechi
Better Robert Cray
And, oh yeah, The amazing Clapton set with Robbie Robertson and Steve Winwood.

2007 gets my vote now that I think about it

It's not about the performers because 2004 and 2007 are both good. But I think that they definitely made an extra effort to make it more viewer friendly in the 2007 version. The Crossroads guitar festival is a big happy happening, much like the Woodstock festival. And somewhere during the show, Clapton said "I think that there could be more". :D

That's true, looking at it as a film 2007 is way better. The Backstage footage seems very relaxed.

Hello First Measure,

I'm siding with the masses
2007 for me.

Cheers.

Don't forget the Jeff Beck session - that one burned it up!

I don't know how many sets were not included in the Crossroads 2007 DVD, but some of them can be seen on YouTube. Check it out.
