Well there are two resolutions that I MUST try to stick to. The first is to develop a practice routine and stick with it. I've made little progress the last year and especially the last 6 weeks because I've been working like a madman! I drive for UPS. The second is to exercise more. I passed 40 last year and the ole metabolism is slowing down a bit. Hope everyone has a great new year! :D

I'm reading about and writing my own practice schedule, so that I can actually advance in my playing - of course, I have to stick to the schedule - no lame excuses to get in the way.

I wish I had quit smoking many years before I actually did. Nearly all of the gear I've bought in the last couple of years as been with money I would have spent on fags.
However, too late, in one sense because now I've got Bronchitis and I'm too knackered to do much anyway, out of breath all the time. The medical term is COPD ( chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ) and it's a bummer man, I tell ya.

All I can say Snowy is....do it man!!.........do it!!
You'll be doing yourself a big favour.

I'm sorry to hear that Rhumba, it must be a real bummer. You're giving me a huge incentive to stop, thanks man.

Hey man, if it helps I stopped by using the nicorette inhalators, they feel like you're holding a cig and you get that hand to mouth motion, you get a shot of nicotine when you inhale.
They are expensive over the counter, so go see your doctor, they want to help and he will give you a note, a hell of a lot cheaper on the NHS
I smoked 60 a day and although it was doctors orders I stopped with them and drank gallons of strong coffee. Get through the first couple of days and you know you can keep it going.
Hope you do it man, good luck.

3. Freebird - Collins/Rossington
4. Comfortably Numb - David Gilmour
5. All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix
6. November Rain - Slash
7. One - Kirk Hammet

I'm a big resolution guy. This year I plan to finally have enough guts to jam with other musicians. I've played for years, but always in a room by myself or along with CDs. It's time to get past the lack of confidence.

I also plan to buy another good American Standard. Black.

Good luck to all who set yearly goals!

I'm going to learn as much about Pro Audio and Recording as possible. I wanna be as comfortable behind a Mixing Station as I am with my Guitar.
