I've got some guitar books that should appear under the tree, a couple of books about music and I ordered and have already received the following:

A custom made BYOC Script Phaser - sounds wonderful

The Phaser will be under the tree :P

This is a musical Christmas in our house, I've gotten my daughter a bass and an amp, books, cables, and a special strap - she will be a happy camper :D

Plus the elves will be leaving various percussion instruments for various folks to use to assist in the music making

Well, the wife threated herself tonight with a new printer so I was thinking as I have been good all year long  , I want something to practice at home and I hesitate between a G-DEC or a Line6 JM4 loop station. (or something else that I never heard of yet). I'll definitely get one of these in the next weeks. 8)

PS for Blues Bondsman, life is too short, buy the amp

Claude.

Why the Duh Voodoo Man - http://duhvoodooman.com/

Did not you see his name on the pedal ? He's a member of another guitar site that I'm a member of - that's how I found out about him - he's a really nice guy - I came up with the name for the pedal and helped in font selection - he did the artwork - the pricing is quite good and the workmanship is 1st rate.

Tell him Gil sent you :P Follow the link to his effects page and don't get too lost

I dropped a lot of hints. Love to see how much my wife and kids (teenagers) listened to me over the last year. I hope I have something.

thanks Gil, I shot him an email this morning. I hope you don't mind, but if he has time to do it I'm gonna try to get one just like yours. The concept is just too cool.

I have not bought anything for myself although a friend of mine bought an O'Hagen Shark. He brought it over to my place, I plugged her in, and after turning the dust out of the pots it sounded awesome (even with 15 year old strings). It is a cool looking guitar that's for sure. I hope he brings it over again sometime...........

We don't celebrate Chrismas with present, we celebrate Saint Nicholas, "sinterklaas" with presents.
that's on the 5th of december. It's something typical dutch.
I got some picks, those guitar hooks to hang yer guitar on the wall and ofcourse lots of cd's. those cd's are sort of guitar related too right?

I treat myself to guitar surprises all year long. But I haven't bought anything "big" lately. Just mostly a cable or two, or some strings. I have $600 cash set aside (and it's still building up) right now, should I decide to buy anything "big" that's guitar related. I'm just waiting for the bug to hit me, and should I decide that I need anything. Who knows...it might build up to $1,000 or more.......by the time I decide if I want anything.

I bought myself an acousic/electric a couple of weeks ago as a Christmas present - a Fender Sonoran SCE Custom in Shoreline Gold, just haven't been off the road enough to play it much - or post pictures, but will do so.
Just picked up a VOX Amplug (the AC30) for nights in hotel rooms.

Going to leave in a few minutes to make the rounds of a few pawn shops. I have always found Christmas Eve to be a good day to do so...

You just reminded me. I've been looking at the VOX Amplug for months, thinking to myself......."I should get one of those, some day......."

I got a MIJ fretless Jazz Bass Special when the EBay auction price ended up a lot less than I thought it would go for. I entered just barely reasonable opening bid with the idea that I was going no higher. But ol' St. Nick was kind too me and the bid held.

The interesting thing about this J-bass is that it has a J-bass pup in the bridge position but a P-bass pup in the middle. It also has a selector switch so you can play either alone or both on. Should sound pretty interesting when I get it -- ETA this coming Monday.

Yep - I just bought a Fender Performer six-string last week! Merry Christmas to me, indeed. It was an opportunity which surfaced that I couldn't pass up, and am I ever glad that it happened.
