My Name Is Zak,Im 13. I Have been Playing Guitar For a year and 7 months. I play ALOT,i taught my self most of what i know. I decided to play after i saw my dads guitar,and he never touched it,so he gave it to me,and i just went online learned some chords,asked my dad if he could buy me new strings,just memorized the chords and started playing.Most Of My Influence To Play when i was 11 was green day,they are my teachers. I Go To Sam Ash In Tamp Alot so if anyone on here goes there you might see me!

My name is John. I am 13 years old. I have been playing guitar for a year and seven months now. I got my first guitar for Christmas in 2005. Jack White of the White Stripes made me want to play guitar. Today, my influences are Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Muddy Waters, Duane Allman, John Lee Hooker, and Elmore James. I play a Fender Classic Player '60s Strat in 3-Tone Sunburst. I play at church once or twice every month.

When I'm not playing guitar, I enjoy listening to music and playing tennis. I have been playing tennis with my dad since I was about seven.

Mike McCurry, interactive designer here at Fender. I am a huge music fanatic. I have a rather big vinyl and CD collection. I listen to all range of music. Big fan of Steve Albini. Have a massive collection of his stuff he produced and bands he played in.

I have only been playing guitar for about a year but I play every day and love it. I am totally in love with my guitar and amp. I play a Gretsch Brian Setzer Hot Rod with a Pro Junior 60th Anniversary Woody. I love it and so do the girls

My name is Barry. Been playing since I was 15 (now 44). Just moved to North Carolina, March 2007. I have a small home studio where I compose instrumentals. Anyone who creates music knows how great it feels to do that.

I am also an artist... watercolors and drawing. Been in my blood since I was a youngster. I work with an advertising/marketing company marketing credit unions. Also married for 12 years this August 2007, and have a greyhound that we adopted.

So great to hear about everyone here at Fender.

I'm originally from Miami and my name is Mike. I've been playing for about 35 years and favor Telecasters and Stratocasters. I also use an old Fender Concert Reverb and Pro Jr Amps and even still have a Fender Chroma Polaris Keyboard that I use on occasion. Fender has been a part of my life for a long time.

I am Steve Smith, 45 and live in the DFW metroplex. I've been learning to play for about 2 1/2 years and wish I could learn faster. I'm married and have 1 girl and 3 boys, all of which are pretty musical. I try to play country rock (Eagles), Southern Rock, blues and country. I have a standard squire telecaster (black chrome edition), an mim stratocaster that I just upgraded with EMG SV pickups/pots/switch, and a Seagull S-6 acoustic. I play through an old Silvertone Sears 5XL amp I found on ebay (SWEEEEET!) and a Fender Frontman 25R (the made in Mexico version-also a very good amp). My goal is to play a gig in public in the next Five years (before I hit the big 5-0). I have no delusions of fame, I just want to get that rush! My oldest son plays guitar and drums (mostly metal) and is in a couple of garage bands and my youngest son plays guitar (blues and rock) and is getting a band together. I need to find a bunch of old guys, like me, and get something going.

Hey guys! My names Ben, I'll be 16 in a couple of months and have been playing guitar since I was 9. At 12 I started classical bass and a few months ago I got a MIM p-bass special. I have a couple strats and I'm going to be getting a Mustang soon. My acoustic is an old 60's japanese guild copy and my amp is a marshall AVT150. I like bands like Dinosaur Jr., Death from above 1979, the Pixies, and Lightning Bolt.

I'm Serge, a 57 year-young middle school history teacher from South Florida via NYC and places in-between. I first played guitar when I was around 16 or 17, but then life intervened and didn't pick it up again until 2 years ago when my son needed a cheaper guitar to take to camp other than his Highway 1.

I bought a 1996 Epiphone Les Paul on ebay (see below) and have been attempting to learn to play again (the key word here is ATTEMPTING!; heat and older fingers don't help much).

I just put in new zebra Gibson 57 Classic/Classic+ pickups in the LP, and I'm looking into getting a 57 Vintage Hot Rod Strat for my son, who wants to go into the Music Production &Engineering pgm at Berklee College of Music; then I get the Highway 1!!!
No matter what guitar, though, I LOVE music...
