Hello to all of you Fender-holics.
My name is Don I have been playing guitar since i was 13 and i'm 48 now.
still trying to be a better player... the better you become the better you want to be. it's an addiction. i have been a gigging mucisian for most of my life, but have always kept my day job. Due to a wife and 3 kids.
And i wouldn't have it any other way.

i look foward to posting with all of you.

Hello. I'm Stevie, and my username is my name (only my Grandmother calls me Stephen!). I am an Electronics Technician in the RAF, currently serving in Gibraltar. I am married to Sally and have 4 beautiful daughters.

I have been playing guitar since I was 14, and have owned a US Standard Strat, a MIJ Contemporary Tele, a MIJ 50's Strat, a US Strat Plus, and used a mid 70's Bassman for a while. I also had the use of a Heartfield Talon for a little while. I don't currently own a Fender, although I predict there will be more in my future. I play a G&L Legacy, and am in the process of building my own Tele-type guitar.

I'm Øystein (18 yrs) from Norway, and I use Fender Am. Strat HSS.
Over the past few years I ve been selling and buying guitars all the time... I ve owned Ibanez RG, Ibanez JEM, Gibson Les Paul Studio, Fender Telecaster and now I use Strat. This guitar is the one I'm gonna use forever, its just so great!

I play everything from Jimi Hendrix to Joe Satriani, and Ive always loved solo guitar playing and guitar-based music. I rarely listen to any other music than instrumental rock like Dream Theater, cause I have a lot to learn from their guitarist John Petrucci.

For three years now I ve been studying music in high school... so I am an expert in music generally;)

I think this forum is great! See ya!

hi. my name is kyle, i'm a 16 year old guitarist. i own a fender deluxe players strat in saphire blue, which i love. my other guitars include an epiphone elitist les paul standard in faded cherryburst, a sigma (branch of martin) tb-1 acoustic electric in black, a squier strat in red, and another acoustic that doesn't get much play in a standard wood finish. i love playing all kinds or musical varities. i play classic rock from hendrix to zeppelin. i play some blues along the line of clapton. i also play a good deal or modern rock such as the red hot chili peppers and others. my favorite artist is probably muse. their guitarist / singer / pianist is brilliant and he does some extremely innovative things with his unique guitars. i play all this through a fender cyber deluxe 65 watt amplifier. i currently do not play in a band, but i think it would be fun. i am also into a lot of sports and other things at my school. feel free to browse my music myspace at http://www.myspace.com/kylesmiach... i have an acoustic song on there and also a video, but i cannot sing. feel free to add me as a friend. thanks and hope to have a good time here on these boards

Hello all...My name is Dan Olson. I started playing guitar when I was 10 (43 years ago). Man, time flies when you're having fun. I'm married and have two sons ages 27 and 21 and a 4 year old granddaughter. My youngest son started playing almost 4 years ago and has become a very good acoustic player. I'm about to venture out for my first strat so I'm REALLY looking forward to that...can't make up my mind between the American Deluxe Ash Strat, John Mayer, and the Eric Johnson. Currently I play an Alvarez acoustic and a Gibson Les Paul Studio both of which I play in church bands. See ya around the boards.

Hi - I'm a retired Network Engineer. I'm a young 62 - just entering my second childhood. My grand daughters ( 16 and 18 ) think that's it's really cool that gramps has guitars and plays. they also love my Mazda Miata!

I'm learning guitar again after 15 years of not playing.

It's fun.

This forum seems to be drawing a good cross section of folks, some older and some younger. It is very cool that Fender can bring together so many different people from different walks of life, different skill levels, different ages, etc.. and we all get along. Take that Internet sites that will remain nameless!

@ DanO: First...Hi from another forum noob  .
I think the Eric Johnson strat is really awesome. It's so smooth and has great tone.
