I am Clark and started playing in the early seventies but had a brother that was pro and I was too embarrassed to play around him so dropped out. Now I am a grandfather and my little brother passed ten years ago so I decided to give it another try. I own a Washburn acoustic that I bought three months ago for two dollars. Head was broken off and re-glued but plays fine and sounds normal. I bought my grandson a Washburn ¾ acoustic and my son managed to get gifted a Fender acoustic someone left at his sister-in-laws house for several years. I am looking at an American Strat at the present and am pretty sure it is the way I am going to go but looking at amps is really a headache. I have read as many reviews as I can and every one has praised and blasted each amp I have looked at.
Presently looking at a couple of used Cyber Deluxe at a local pawn shop. Not being a player makes it difficult to try one out.

Hello, all... I'm Jim Bordner from Gravity Music, and I make commercial music for a living. I'm a Strat and P-Bass Deluxe player, and looking to see who I may know that's hanging out here....

My name is Tony and I am 33 yr old father of 3 and husband. I live in Tacoma, WA and have been playing guitar since I was 12. By day I design/engineer power and natural gas for the local utility.

I own an 89 American Standard Strat, a 65? MIJ Jaguar Reissue, a 97 American Standard Tele, and my #1 guitar my Sherwood Green 62 American Vintage Jazzmaster.

I play through a Cyber Twin, but am looking into getting an old Marshall 1987 Plexi stack.

Hiya folks!

My name's Matt, I'm a 37-year-old journalist and working musician, currently involved in an acoustic duo playing a bunch of folk, blues and rock standards. I've been playing about 25 years, and working in cover and original bands for the last seven.

I'm also into tinkering on my truck, computer gaming, graphic design and lately, home studio development.

I own a 2001 ASe Telecaster, a heavily-modded 2000 MIM Jazz, a 1999 Hot-Rod P-bass, an early MIA Blues Jr., a Bassman 400 head, and various other guitars and amps, including an Epiphone Masterbilt acoustic.

Great work on the site revamp! I'm looking forward to seeing what develops here.

My name is Nik, i've been playing for 7 years, (going on 8 in august, turning 16 in september)

I own 6 guitars, my first was a Fender DG10 acoustic.

I love playing blues, and I play most of the instruments you'd find in a band (drums, bass (both electric and upright), and piano.)

If you want to know anything else, just ask.

My name is James and I too am a Fenderholic. I'm from England, UK. Husband to one, father to none, been playing and collecting Fender stuff for ten years. Used to have five guitars but just sold two and broke up one beat-up Strat for a project/spares.

Username is my favourite Neil Young (all hail) song. But you all knew that... ;o)

- 1999 MiM Standard Strat (rosewood/sunburst; happily chose this over an MiA)
- 1995 Duo-Sonic (maple/torino red)
- 1994 Bronco (tweed)
- 2006 Blues Junior
- Will add a 50s Duo-Sonic in sand/gold/maple just as soon as I can find a playable, all-original example this side of the pond
- Also a large number of genuine Fender parts, new and old - slowly building my perfect Strat for hard rock.

Plus about 10 t-shirts and 40+ other merchandise items - including all the mini-amps, Custom Shop builder's box (a fantastic item with cool pinstriping), watch etc. Stuff takes up a small room.

Bill Campbell, from Deep In the Heart of Texas. The middle of the State is in the county I live in, probably about 8 or 9 miles from where I live. I love playing the blues, and some rock. I am trying to get a band together.

I started playing the guitar in '67, when I snuck out and bought a sorry one. I finally got a Squier Strat in '99, and have built up the collection. I have been hanging out some at the Fender Discussion Page since '99.

Look forward to getting to know the ones here I don't know.

David Plagman, Fender Distribution Account Mgr., been playing gtr for 28 of my 39 yrs on the planet w/emphasis on writing and production. Dedicated a room in my new tiny condo for my gtrs, amps, pedals, recording set up.

Fender to me means a lot more than gtrs and amps. It's all about the people here at the company and even more importantly, our extended family accross the globe including all of you on this awesome new forum!!
It's about the free flowing sharing and exchanging of ideas and learning from one another in our pursuit to ride the SPIRIT OF ROCK N' ROLL and keep creating music and sounds to be enjoyed by all!!!!

A special Kudos to Brad T. for making this a reality here at the one and only Fender Forum:)

You can check out most of my gear at myspace. I don't email people to get them as friends, the site mostly maintains some info about me.
