chelKILLSWITCH.
17-going-on-18!
started playing piano almost over 9 years ago.
played clarinet for 5 years.
picked up guitar from my cousin who used to jam with a st.albert, AB, CANADA band called Social Code. i still have my very first guitar. im currently helping my BF get into one of the local bands here called Before The Unseen. They are a death-core metal band from Rock City and are absolutely AMAZING. The boys in that band strive for excellence and are all extremely talented. If my bf gets in, he will be doing main vocals/scream and i will be attempting to write lyrics and music for the band and helping manage in any way possible. :D

Hey guys! My name is Christian. My friends call me Jaco. Yeah I know.
Anyway, I am 12 and play guitar, bass, and piano. I started out with piano, now I play blues and hard rock guitar. I sometimes fiddle with bass.
I play in a cover band but we recently wrote our first song. I also play in a blues band with a bass player I know. My guitars:
Squier Affinity Strat
Fender Road Worn 50s Strat
Fender Frontman 15g Amp
Blues Jr Tube Amp
hopefully an American Standard in the near future.
:D

HEY! I am Joe age 14...

I have a squier strat with my new pickups' arrival pending. You can find out my gear below.

I have a guitar playing brother, and I can still remember the time when he was better than me   :P

I dabbled in a few instruments: piano/keyboard, then clarinet, then I tried an acoustic. Stopped for a bit then picked up an electric. I am loving it and not going back!

Hendrix, Trower, SRV, Page.

Hello the name is Dwayne i'm 37 years old been playing half that long but only seriously for 10 years. I like playing anything acoustic more so on the 6 string. I'm still learning from a below average teacher (myself). I like browsing guitars that i wish i could have and reconstructing songs to my style. I play in a country/bluegrass style with a twist of southern rock and Christian rock. I play a little with the church when called on and for the family and friends. I own two Takamine 6 strings and a noname 60's/70's Strat copy that i can't quite figure out what is. I like fishing and spending time with my wife and kids when i'm not playing the guitar.

Hi everyone! I'm Blaise, 42 years old. Married with 2 kids and I am a UPS driver delivering all the "precious" goods we all covet. Been playing acoustic guitar (Martin D-16RGT) for about 12 years although you'd never know it, I'm not very good! Bought a MIM Strat last July and my son (12) started playing drums a couple of months ago. We are having a blast! I really enjoy checking out the posts on the Fender Lounge, lots of interesting stuff and people. This post makes me feel like I am getting to know you all a little better!

KRAD, but people know me as Konrad.

Been playing since I was 12, and I'm 17. If I'm not outside, I'm playing guitar.

I played trombone for a year and a half, and drums for about half a year. Trombone was fun, drums weren't.

I play mostly blues, but I can shred (if Cliffs of Dover is considered shredding :] ).

I own an American Deluxe HSS Stratocaster, and I think it is the best guitar ever.

I also own a 50th Anniversary Mexican Stratocaster. I recently bowed the neck and added .11's on it, as I am taking up slide. Should be fun.

I own a nylon acoustic, as I used to play classical guitar. I want another.

I have a Peavey Vypyr, but what I really want is a '65 Twin Reverb.

I would like to own an SG and a Tele. A Tele because it's a Tele, and an SG because it's the only Gibson instrument I find playable. That's just me.

And that is a bit about me. :]

Pineknot14- Back in the day before my town and a neighboring town merged schools, my town went by Pineknotters for the team name. Lots of pine trees in town and supposedly nothing was tougher than the knot of a pine tree! 14 was always my baseball and basketball number when I played>

Hello. My name is Chris. I found a turtle today. I have two guitars. An all white american standard strat named Kitty and a Korean Body w/ a Mexican Neck Sunburst strat with David Gilmour EMG's named Sheila. She's the $@!$ out of the two because she's been handled by so many people. I have a Fender Deville 4x10 and I've been playing guitar for about 3 years. I like eating Carls Jr too.

My screename is very odd I know. I took some acid on my birthday and i came up with some story about some guy killing geminis. I can't really explain it. I guess I just thought it sounded cool then. I kinda regret it now cuz its weird when my boss asks me for me email or my bank

hi all, name's patrick 52 yrs old from auckland new zealand and i think the only nz (kiwi) person on the fender forum. started playing guitar at 14, never owned an electric guitar until this year tho, used to play guitars which other people didnt play anymore or didnt want or whatever. was in a band for a bit playing bass, great fun but i dont remember too much of it. played bass again in a school orchestra when i was a high school teacher, good thing about that was i learned to read music and a bit of music theory, but gave it all up for a number of reasons which most of the older guys here will be able to guess at, forgot pretty much everything i'd learned and only got into guitars again this year with my MIM strat. disinterred my fender acoustic (korean made dreadnought, nice tone) which i hadnt played for years, and now i'm playing every day and it's great. tomorrow i'm driving down country a bit to pick up a squier bullet strat i've got off the local ebay equivalent, reason being i want to maintain my guitar myself but dont want to stuff up the MIM while i'm learning. i'm gonna take the squier to bits and put it all back together, maybe swap a few parts out and see how it goes. saving bucks to buy an amp, would like a blues junior if i can just get the dough together....

Well, I signed up to get some wallpapers, so I might as well start posting on this forum to eat up more time while at work, right? :)

So, hi, I'm Frankie from Clearwater, FL. By day I'm a computer engineer, but at night I slang a guitar and sing for The Cowboy Mafia. As the old saying goes, I've got more gear than I need, but not as much gear as I want. Right now I'm sitting on 8 guitars, 5 amps, 3 microphones, a modest pedal board, and of course all of the things that go along with 'em. Fender-wise I've got a '97 Lonestar Stratocaster, '03 Highway One Telecaster, and '71 Super Reverb. Hopefully that's enough to get me in the Fender club! ;)
