My name is David. I am 16 and am starting my guitar collection. I hope to one day be able to build guitars. I want to live life surrounded by music. I used to be a drummer, but recently bought my first guitar at the local music shop. This is only the beginning.

Greetings Fender Nation...

My name is Mark (aka bluedog) and have been playing guitar off and on since the mid '60's. I'm 50 yrs old, husband, father, and grandfather. I've been a ham radio operator since 1973 and collect and restore vintage radios. I'm currently using the "Blues You Can Use" instruction course and enjoy classic rock and blues. Purchased my first Fender guitar in June 2006 and is my #1 axe. Image

My name is Justin, I live in Sauk Rapids, MN, and I work for a lawn care company. I've messed around with a guitar off and on throughout my life, but only got serious about playing last winter. I don't feel like I've gotten anywhere since then, but all of my friends say I'm improving, so I guess that's something.

I have a Baja Tele and a Crate Palomino V16 that I try to play the blues through. No effects yet, I'm hoping this board will offer some insight into quality products.

Like the guy who posted above me, I'm using the Blues You Can Use book written by John Ganapes, and I think it's awesome if you're interested in picking up blues guitar.

Hi, I'm Bob, I will be 49 in a couple months, and have been playing since 1977. Married to a great woman for nearly 20 years, father of three great kids, all of whom seem to have some musical ability. Got my oldest a Squier Strat starter kit and I hope any of my kids will learn to play and experience the enjoyment guitar playing has given me. I bought my first "real guitar", an Alvarez Martin D28 copy in '78. Played rhythm on it for about 22 yrs. and still play it on occasion. Also have a Rickenbacker "Wave" solid body Guitar my Bro-in-law modded and gave to me a while back. Bought my Japanese Telecaster around '87, started playing lead at church about 7 yrs. ago I LOVE IT!: Still play it every week! TELES ROCK!

My name is Phil and I having been seriously playing for about 2 years now. I got to UT and my and my roommate try and play some jams together in our little dorm room. I just got my first strat this past weekend. I had been playing on some Ibanez starter pack. I never believed in love at first sight 'til I saw my strat. Me and my roommate are trying to learn some classic rock songs. I love the old stuff.

I'm Jeff. I'm 41 and have been teaching highschool and coaching for the last 18 years. Took some lessons in my teens on an early 60's model Gibson acoustic of my dad's, but never followed up until about 8 years ago. bought my first electric (H1) last month and have not been able to put it down since. Play for my own enjoyment and peace of mind. Nice to meet all of you.
